White Light Nebula Star Goes Premature Nova by Chance
The bright light seen in the sky today above K'tsa-Kar was identified as the star "Farling", located in the nearby White Light Nebulae, going nova. What makes this so unusual is that it was thought that all evidence pointed to Farling being a relatively new star with a life expectancy of 3.5 billion years from the present. Scientist are unable to explain exactly what the cause of the explosion was, although the researchers at the Ken-zah Kit observatory were able to determine that the star has suddenly turned into a Neutron star. "It is as if every hydrogen molecule within the star was broken into its constituent components of Protons, Electrons and Neutrons." Where the electrons and Protons went is undetermined, and what could cause such an event has everyone worried. The Anti-Sathar League released a report indicating that it is the workings of those "demonic Sathar experiments". WarTech ships, which have been patrolling the fringes of the Nebulae under a contract for K'tsa-Kar, had their contracts doubled. In the resulting paranoia, other star systems have been quick to hire WarTech contract mercenaries. The Clarion and Theseus militia ships have been placed on Alert 2 status fearing a possible invasion. WarTech representatives were quick to point out that the cause of the explosion is of "unknown origin" and that there is not yet a "clear and safe way to penetrate Dust clouds and Nebulae".
