Ringar
Ringar, Solar Minor System - Scientists from ByChem, working in a lab on Ringar, have come up with a new spider venom antidote. This antidote has the most effect when the victim has been bitten by the Giant Forest Spider, but can also be effective against other types of spider venoms, to varying degrees of success.

The lead scientist, Dr. Quanna V'ttek [Vf], has be working on improving the standard antidote for the last 8 years. The first five years where spent on Inner Reach, near the headquaters of ByChem. However, to improve security and enlarge the labs to contain larger and more dangerous specimens, a brand new facility was created on Ringar. After the move, a few more scientists where added to the staff. The breakthrough to creating an antidote came when the team was joined by Dr. Issan Breen [Ym], one of the new staff members.

Dr. Breen had nearly died in his third year of medical training when he was bit by a Giant Forest Spider. One of the lucky ones with a strong consitution, Dr. Breen managed to survive the spider bite. Armed with his knowledge of medicine and first hand experience of the venom, he was able to help Dr. V'ttek create a highly realistic model.
